After an immensely popular kickoff to its regional wine tasting series in March, wine expert Cathy Mantuano and Wine Director Jon Kearns are pleased to announce details for Yolan’s April and May events. This series promises an exquisite journey through a range of varietals that spotlight the nuances and flavor profiles that make Italy’s wine culture so vast and exciting. Each month, the team focuses on a new region, leading intimate tastings on select Saturday afternoons. Additionally, Yolan will also host a multi-course dinner that dives further into select region’s wines as they are paired with the award-winning Italian cuisine of Chef Tony Mantuano. April’s emphasis spotlights Campania, one of Italy’s oldest wine regions, which dates back to the 12th Century BC. With considerable influence of ancient empires and historical legends, the region is home to an impressive array of grape varieties, some of which are found almost nowhere else in the world. April’s events include:

Campania White Wine Tasting. 

Saturday, April 10th

3 to 4 p.m.

Attendees will experience the bounty of white wine varietals from Campania. Known for their aromatic character, they are often reminiscent of the local flora. The tasting includes four wines and cheese. Space is limited. $65 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Campania Red Wine Tasting. 

Saturday, April 24th

3 to 4 p.m.

Guests are invited to sip and savor the big red wines from Campania, while learning about their personalities, optimal aging requirements, and pairing suggestions. The tasting includes four wines and cheese. Space is limited. $65 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
