Nashville SC will cap a stretch of three matches in seven days when the club returns to GEODIS Park to face the New England Revolution on Saturday, June 1 a 7:30 p.m. CT, presented by CESAR® Canine Cuisine. Tickets for the match, which will celebrate Pride Month, are available here.
Here are five things to know for Saturday’s match, available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and on Nashville SC’s flagship station 104.5 the Zone.
- Nashville SC enters play Saturday night on a four-match unbeaten streak (2W-0L-2D), including a 2-0 win over FC Cincinnati on Wednesday that snapped the Ohio side’s seven-game winning streak, the second best in league history.
- The Boys in Gold are unbeaten against New England at home (2W-0L-1D), last hosting the Revolution at GEODIS Park on Oct. 14, 2023 for a 3-2 victory. In addition to traveling to Foxborough, Mass. on Sept. 29 for its second and final Major League Soccer meeting of the regular season, Nashville SC will play the Revs in the Bay State on Aug. 6 in the group stage of Leagues Cup 2024.
- Nashville SC forward Sam Surridge, who leads the team in MLS goals this season with five, netted his first-career MLS brace when the Revs visited Music City last fall. The Englishman notched his second multi-goal game earlier this season against CF Montréal when he joined Hany Mukhtar as the only players in franchise history to score a hat trick.
- From 2014 to 2021, Nashville SC forward Teal Bunbury called New England home. Bunbury, who is seventh among active players in MLS appearances with 378, took the field 243 times for the Revs between the regular season and playoffs.
- Following its busy run of play, Nashville SC won’t take the field again until June 15 at the New York Red Bulls due to the international break. Three Boys in Gold have been named to June international rosters: defender Shaq Moore (United States’ pre-Copa America 2024 friendlies), midfielder Jacob Shaffelburg (Canada’s pre-Copa America 2024 friendlies), and defender Walker Zimmerman (United States’ final pre-Olympic Training Camp).

The Boys in Gold again qualified for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in both 2022 and 2023, becoming just the third team in league history to reach the postseason during the team’s first four years in existence. Nashville SC inaugurated GEODIS Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada, in front of a sellout crowd of 30,109 on May 1, 2022.
