Nashville Soccer Club will travel to Lower.com Field Wednesday to face last season’s MLS Cup champions the Columbus Crew at 5:30 p.m. CT in the second and final fixture between the clubs this regular season.

  1. With his goal against Inter Miami CF last Saturday at GEODIS Park, Nashville SC’s all-time leading scorer and first-ever designated player Hany Mukhtar became just the sixth player in MLS history to record 100 goal contributions (59 goals, 41 assists) during a four-year span. Mukhtar leads Nashville SC this season with 12 MLS goal contributions (5 goals, 7 assists) and was named to his third-straight MLS All Star team earlier this week.
  2. The Boys in Gold travel to the Buckeye State unbeaten in seven of their last nine matches, including a record of 2W-0L-2D in the club’s last four fixtures away from GEODIS Park.
  3. Since May 1, Nashville SC has conceded the second fewest goals in MLS (8) while going 5W-3L-3D with a plus-six goal differential.
  4. Nashville SC midfielder Jacob Shaffelburg will be away from the club on international duty at Conmebol Copa América™ 2024 through at least July 5 after helping lead Canada to the Quarterfinal round in the nation’s first-ever Copa América™ appearance. During Group Stage play, the Nova Scotia native registered the game-winning assist in Canada’s 1-0 win over Peru and logged 65 minutes and his first international start in the team’s Quarterfinal-clinching scoreless draw with Chile last Saturday.
  5. Wednesday night at Columbus marks the start of three-straight road matches for Nashville SC. The Boys in Gold will visit the Portland Timbers (July 7) and D.C. United (July 13) before returning to GEODIS Park to host Orlando City SC on Wednesday, July 17 and 7:30 p.m. CT. Tickets for the team’s return home are available here.
