Nashville Soccer Club (5W-3L-4D, 19 pts.) will host Inter Miami CF (5W-6L-0D, 15 pts.) at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday at GEODIS Park, presented by C Spire on a night that will serve to celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. As part of the celebrations, Section 615 will host special guests from API Middle TN as the Nashville SC Community Flag will welcome honorary flag bearers from the Greater Nashville Chinese Association. Limited tickets are available at www.NashvilleSC.com/Tickets.
In addition, Nashville SC will launch a special edition commemorative API Patch designed by API Middle TN. All proceeds from the patch, which can be purchased at the NSC Team Store and www.nashvillescmobileshop.com, will benefit the organization.

Nashville SC welcomes Inter Miami CF this Wednesday for the first time ever at GEODIS Park, and the first time at home since May 2, 2021. In three all-time matches in Music City, Nashville SC owns a 2W-0L-1D record and has never allowed a goal.Â
Last week, Nashville SC in conjunction with U.S. Soccer announced that Nashville will also take on Inter Miami CF in the Round of 16 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. CT at DRV PNK Stadium. Additional broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
Reigning Landon Donovan MLS MVP Hany Mukhtar is on MLS history watch. With a goal on Wednesday, the German would be tied with Jamie Moreno as the fourth-fastest player in MLS history to produce 50 career goals and 30 career assists, behind only Carlos Vela (69 games), Sebastian Giovinco (78 games), and Robbie Keane (82 games). Mukhtar is currently at 91 matches played and 49 regular season goals. Â
Earlier today, Head Coach Gary Smith and midfielder AnÃbal Godoy previewed the midweek contest against Inter Miami CF. Coach Smith addressed the familiarity with Inter Miami CF, his relationship with Head Coach Phil Neville, as he also praised Miami for their recent form and the quality of talent they have.
Godoy spoke about the expectations of hosting Inter Miami, the recent shape the team has played in and his role within the group. Godoy also talked about how great the locker-room has been this season and the importance of being aggressive and focused while playing at GEODIS Park.
