Nashville Soccer Club will wrap up its 2022 MLS regular season home schedule at 7:30 p.m. CT on Sunday against Houston Dynamo FC at GEODIS Park. Nashville SC is on the verge of clinching its third consecutive berth in the Audi MLS Cup this weekend, which would make them the fifth ever team in Major League Soccer to have accomplished such feat in their first three seasons (Chicago Fire, Seattle Sounders, Atlanta United and LAFC).

The Boys in Gold enter Week 33 in fourth place in the Western Conference just three points shy of third place. Nashville SC is riding a season-high six match unbeaten streak, not having lost a match since Aug. 14, while outscoring opponents 16-3 in that stretch.
Landon Donovan MLS MVP frontrunner Hany Mukhtar has been sensational in this 2022 campaign, reigning as the MLS Golden Boot leader with 23 goals and leading the league in goal contributions with 34. Mukhtar has contributed at least one goal in 17 of his last 20 MLS appearances and has been involved in over half of Nashville SC’s regular season goals in club history (70 of 129).
Nashville SC Captain Dax McCarty could make history this weekend, becoming second all-time in MLS history in matches played in the regular season by an outfield player. McCarty is currently tied with Jeff Larentowicz at 437 matches.
Fans who will be attending this weekend’s match can arrive to GEODIS Park early to enjoy the Fan Appreciation Night pre-match entertainment outside the stadium. Beginning at 5 p.m. CT, the Opening Act in the North Plaza will feature Nashville-based cover band The Decades. Additionally, producer and musician ( v i r t u e s ) and singer-songwriter Sarah Somebody will give pop-up performances outside gates C and F, respectively.
Fans with tickets in the GEODIS WeHo Club will also have access to a private performance leading up to kickoff by the alternative pop trio band Pacific. The Voice season 21 top eight contestant Lana Scott will also perform in the WeHo Club at halftime.
Following the entrance of both teams on the pitch, longtime Nashville SC fan and member of The Backline drumline since 2019 Kate Guidry will perform the National Anthem. Lastly, Nashville SC fan since the club’s time in the USL Championship Aaron Farquhar will perform an original song on the Main Stage at halftime.
Nashville SC joined Major League Soccer on Feb. 29, 2020, in front of the largest attendance ever recorded for a soccer match in the State of Tennessee.
