Nashville Soccer Club to Start at Orlando City Soccer Club on Monday, October 30th, followed by Home Match on Tuesday, November 7th

Third Match of the Series to Be Played at Orlando on Sunday, November 12th, if Necessary

Major League Soccer revealed today the schedule for the Round One Best-of-3 Series in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs. Nashville SC, after securing a seventh-place finish in the Eastern Conference, is set to clash with second-seeded Orlando City SC in what will be Nashville’s fourth consecutive playoffs appearance in as many seasons in the League. The series will kick off with an away match at 6 p.m. CT on Monday, Oct. 30.

The Boys in Gold will then return to GEODIS Park for the second match, scheduled for 8 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Fans can now secure their seats for by purchasing tickets, available for sale here.

Should the series require a tiebreaker, Nashville SC will travel to Orlando on Sunday, Nov. 12, for a decisive match at 4 p.m. CT. The stakes will be high as both teams vie for a spot in the next round of the playoffs.

In the new playoff format, the Round One Best-of-3 Series includes a home-away-home configuration that guarantees at least one home game for all teams. If a match is tied at the end of regulation during the Wild Card and Best-of-3 Series matches, no extra time will be played, and teams will participate in kicks from the penalty spot to determine the winner. The first team to win two matches in the Best-of-3 Series will advance to the Conference Semifinals.

Nashville and Orlando have crossed paths on nine occasions, with the Boys in Gold boasting a 3W-2L-4D record. These two rivals have previously clashed in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, resulting in a 3-1 victory for Nashville on Nov. 23, 2021.
