On a recent evening at Gray’s on Main, the committee behind the 53rd Annual Heritage Ball gathered around a fittingly convivial task: tasting and selecting the signature cocktails that will welcome guests to one of Williamson County’s most anticipated society events. Sponsored by Lipman Brothers, the cocktail tasting offered an early glimpse of the hospitality and style planned for the Ball, which will take place Saturday, September 12, at Harlinsdale Farm.

Presented by Atmos Energy and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation, the Heritage Ball benefits the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, Tennessee, an organization long devoted to protecting the places, stories, and civic character that define the region. This year’s cocktail selections—Garden Porch and Sandia en Fuego—reflect the Ball’s blend of Southern elegance, fresh seasonal flavor, and festive outdoor celebration.

Garden Porch is a crisp, garden-fresh vodka cocktail layered with elderflower and fresh lemon, then finished with club soda for a light sparkle. Cucumber and mint lend an elegant botanical note, making it an effortless choice for an evening under the open sky. Sandia en Fuego offers a livelier counterpoint: blanco tequila brightened with watermelon and lime, accented by a subtle jalapeño-and-chili heat that balances sweetness, citrus, and spice with a clean modern finish.

Tickets and tables for the Heritage Ball go on sale August 6, alongside the event’s highly anticipated online auction.
