Nashville SC Looks To Continue Unbeaten Streak At TQL Stadium

Fans Can Follow the Action on the MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV App and on Radio on 104.5 The Zone

Nashville Soccer Club (11W-7L-5D, 38 pts.) will travel north to face FC Cincinnati (14W-2L-6D, 48 pts.) at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, July 15. The match against the Supporters’ Shield leaders can be followed on the MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app and on 104.5 The Zone.

Saturday night will mark the second meeting between Nashville SC and FC Cincinnati this season, after the Orange and Blue took their first-ever win against Nashville in a 1-0 win at GEODIS Park on March 25. This will also be the third-ever match for the Boys in Gold at TQL Stadium, having won and drawn once each in the Queen City in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

The Boys in Gold own a 2W-1L-2D record against FC Cincinnati in MLS. The most memorable win of the series came at TQL Stadium on Oct. 27, 2021 when Nashville SC erased a 2-0 and 3-1 deficits to win 6-3, clinching a berth in the 2021 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in the process.

Nashville and Cincinnati also share a unique history, having faced off multiple times when both clubs played in the USL Championship in 2018. Those matches spurred a rivalry between the clubs’ supporters that remains in Major League Soccer.

Saturday’s match will also be the final regular season match before the 2023 Leagues Cup kicks off. This season, all MLS and Liga MX clubs will pause their seasons to compete in a clash for the continent that could bring Nashville its first trophy as well as a berth in the Concacaf Champions League. Nashville SC will face Colorado Rapids and Liga MX’s Toluca at GEODIS Park in the Leagues Cup group stage on July 23 and 27, respectively. Tickets can be purchased here.

While FC Cincinnati could see the return of forward Brandon Vazquez and defender Mat Miazga, Nashville SC will still be missing Aníbal Godoy, who continues his participation with Panama in the Concacaf Gold Cup. Godoy captained the Panamanians to a win on penalties over the United States on Wednesday night in the semifinals and will face Mexico in the Gold Cup Final on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. CT on FOX, Univision and TUDN.

Fans will be able to gather to watch the match at The Lost Paddy (715 Spence Ln, Nashville, TN 37217) or at home on the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
